Zbigniew Stanisław Wodecki, born on May 6, 1950, in Kraków, Poland, was a
multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, singer, actor, and television
presenter. He began playing the violin at a young age and studied under Juliusz
Weber. In the late 1960s, Wodecki performed with the group Anawa and accompanied
Ewa Demarczyk from 1968 to 1973. His breakthrough as a singer came in 1972 when
he won the Best New Talent Award at the National Festival of Polish Song in
