X Dinero is a ska-rock band from Arequipa, Peru, formed in 1997 after the
dissolution of the prog-rock group Baretto. Led by vocalist Roni Carbajal, the
group gained regional recognition with their fusion of rock, reggae, and ska,
delivering an upbeat and irreverent sound. Their debut album, 1997's Triste
Realidad, was well-received in southern Peru, earning them a solid fanbase.
