Xama is the stage name of Geuson Fernandes, a Brazilian rapper from Rio de
Janeiro. Born in Sepetiba in 1989, he began to rap at the age of 12. After
taking part in freestyle competitions he was asked to join the rap collective
and record label 1Kilo, appearing on the song 'Cypher "Reza Sincera"' (2017)
with the rappers Pablo Martins, Mz, Knust, Pelé MilFlows and Rafael Sadan; the
video for the track garnered more than 58 million views. Through these new
connections Xama became part of the collectives Cartel MCs and Brutang 44. His
