Ezekiel Adekunle Ajibade, born 18 March 2004 in Lagos, Nigeria, entered the
music scene as a vocalist and songwriter. He began by uploading demos to online
platforms, gaining attention with early singles that showcased his blend of
Afro‑beat and contemporary pop. His debut album, Superstar (2021), featured the
hit "Essence" with Tems, which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 58 on
7 May 2021 and later peaked at number 8 on the UK R&B chart. In the same year,
