In 2012, Florian Claus, Stefan Raaflaub, Korbinian Arendt, Christian Schild,
Michael Hartinger and Julian David came together as the vocal ensemble Voxxclub
to create folk pop music. They wanted to renew the genre and give the scene a
more contemporary feel. To do this, they used more modern sounds and sometimes
distorted guitars. The band also broke new ground lyrically and did not stand
for rather conservative values, as is often the case in folk music, but instead
