Ulf Lundell
Ulf Gerhard Lundell was born on 20 November 1949 in Stockholm, Sweden and
emerged as a prolific rock singer, songwriter, poet and author. His early years
were shaped by a modest upbringing in Stockholm and Saltsjö-Boo, where he
received his first guitar at age ten and began writing songs and poems that he
sent to record labels; early rejections from MNW, Silence and EMI were followed
by a breakthrough when EMI signed him in October 1974, leading to his debut LP
