Turbo is a K-pop group from Seoul, South Korea, initially formed by Kim
Jong-kook and Kim Jung-nam. Before they started Turbo, Kim Jung-nam worked as a
DJ, and Kim Jong-kook was a vocalist in a high school band. They teamed up, with
Jung-nam taking on rapping and choreography while Jong-kook handled vocals. In
August 1995, they released their debut album, 280 km/h Speed, which sold over
300,000 copies by December of that year. Just a year later, Turbo returned with
