Tonbruket
Founded in 2009 by bassist and composer Dan Berglund (born in Pilgrimstad,
Jämtland, Sweden on May 5, 1963), Tonbruket is a crossover quartet that also
features a trio of musicians that were not previously associated with the jazz
scene: drummer Andreas Werliin, guitarist Johan Lindström, and keyboardist
Martin Hederos. Before forming the group, Dan Berglund was a member of popular
jazz group the Esbjörn Svensson Trio – also referred to as e.s.t. – which was
led by pianist Esbjörn Svensson. After Svensson’s death in a scuba diving
accident in 2008, Dan Berglund formed Tonbruket. ...
