Tian Zhen, born Tian Zhen on 2 May 1966 in Beijing, China, is a Chinese rock
singer whose career began in the early 1980s after graduating from The
Affiliated High School of Peking University. She entered the music scene with
early singles such as "Beautiful Bay" (1984) and "Nameless Little Flower"
(1984), which established her presence in the burgeoning Asian rock scene. Her
breakthrough came with the 1995 single "Perseverance" (执着), which received
widespread airplay and set the stage for her self‑titled album 田震 (1996).
