This Ending
This Ending, a Swedish death metal band from Stockholm, was formed in 1991. The
group initially began as A Canorous Quartet in 1991 by Fredrik Andersson, Mårten
Hansen, and Linus Nirbrant. After several lineup changes, they released their
first EP, As Tears, in 1994, followed by two studio albums, Silence of the World
Beyond (1996) and The Only Pure Hate (1998). The band disbanded in 1998 but
reunited under the new name This Ending in 2005. Their first release as This
