Thierry Maillard
Born on August 11, 1966 in Puteaux, France, Thierry Maillard is a classical and
jazz pianist, accordionist, composer and arranger. He first became interested in
music at the age of eight years old when he began playing the accordion. By the
age of 14, he had switched to piano and started showing an interest in
composition. He attended the École Normale de Musique de Paris and graduated at
the age of 17 with a teaching diploma. Inspired by Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett,
