The Tears
The Tears were an English rock supergroup formed in 2004 by former Suede members
Brett Anderson (lead vocals) and Bernard Butler (lead and rhythm guitars,
backing vocals), joined by Will Foster (keyboards, piano), Nathan Fisher (bass
guitar, backing vocals) and Makoto Sakamoto (drums, percussion). Their first
public appearance was a live show on 14 December 2004 at the Oxford Zodiac, and
the group released the single "Refugees" on 25 April 2005, which entered the UK
Singles Chart at Number 9. The duo followed with the album Here Come the Tears
