Born Sayuri Sugawara on 29 June 1990 in Tokyo, the Japanese singer known as the
Sxplay kicked off her career in 2009 and is famous for putting her voice to
"Kimi ga Iru Kara," the theme song for the Japanese version of Final Fantasy
XIII, among numerous other videogame soundtracks. After winning over audiences
at the 7 Days Audition and the 30 Days Audition in 2008, she scored a contract
with For Life Music Entertainment and got the ball rolling immediately.
