Bryce Avary, born in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, is an American singer-songwriter
known for his solo project The Rocket Summer. Avary's musical journey began at
age 12 when he received his first guitar and started teaching himself various
instruments. He released his first EP under the name The Rocket Summer in 2000,
which sold out its initial print run and was later re-released as The Early
Years EP. His debut album, Calendar Days, followed in 2003. Avary signed with
