the peggies were formed in 2011 in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan, by vocalist and
guitarist Yuuho Kitazawa (born December 2 1995) alongside bassist Makiko
Ishiwata (born August 27 1995) and drummer Miku Onuki (born April 23 1995). The
trio debuted with the single "Sputnik" in 2016, followed by the album スプートニク /
Love Trip on October 19, 2016, which established their alternative‑rock sound.
In 2017 they released the EP BABY! Their 2019 "センチメートル" was a commercial success
that entered the Oricon singles chart. In 2021 the band issued the compilation
