The East Pointers, a Canadian contemporary folk music group from Prince Edward
Island, were formed in 2014 by guitarist Jake Charron, banjoist Koady Chaisson,
and fiddler Tim Chaisson. The trio began performing in Atlantic Canada before
expanding their tours to Ontario following their growing popularity in eastern
provinces. Their debut album, Secret Victory, was released in late 2015. The
band subsequently won the Canadian Folk Music Award for Ensemble of the Year in
2016 and the Juno Award for Traditional Roots Album of the Year at the Juno
