Based in Santa Cruz, California, The Devil Makes Three comprises Pete Bernhard
(vocals, guitar), Cooper McBean (guitar) and Lucia Turino (double bass).
Resurrecting country, folk and bluegrass in an alternative version, the group,
which includes two former members of punk bands, produced a self-produced debut
album in 2002, followed two years later by Longjohns, Boots and a Belt and the
