The Dear Hunter
Casey Crescenzo, born in Providence, Rhode Island, United States, is the
founder, lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the American
progressive rock band The Dear Hunter. After leaving the band Receiving End of
Sirens, he began the project in 2005, recording the demo Dear Ms. Leading and
circulating it among friends. The breakthrough came with the 2006 release of the
concept album Act I: The Lake South, The River North, which established the
