The Blackout
The Blackout, a British post-hardcore band from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, formed in
2003 under the initial name Ten Minute Preview. The group changed their name to
The Blackout after a t-shirt referencing the 1977 New York City blackout and
released their debut EP The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout! in October
2006, which garnered them recognition as "Best British Newcomer" by Kerrang!. In
2007, they published their first album We Are the Dynamite, followed by The Best
