Keiko Terada, born on July 27, 1963, in Japan, is a singer-songwriter and
actress who began her music career in 1982 as the lead vocalist of the
all-female metal band Show-Ya. She gained significant recognition in the
Japanese hard rock and heavy metal scene with the band. In 1988, Terada
collaborated with Marcy from Earthshaker under the name HIPS, releasing a single
that served as the theme songs for the anime series Borgman. This collaboration
showcased her versatility.
