A Canadian country artist with a knack for pop hooks, Tebey was born Tebey
Solomon Ottoh on October 14, 1983 in Peterborough, Ontario. He grew up in
Ontario the son of a Canadian mother and Nigerian father. In 2003 he had a
breakthrough hit in both Canada and the US with the single “We Shook Hands (Man
to Man)”. He then worked mainly as a professional songwriter for both pop and
