Tai Orathai
Tai Orathai – born Orathai Dabkham on March 27, 1980, in Na Chaluai District,
Ubon Ratchathani Province, Thailand – is a luk thung (Thai country music) singer
who has been nicknamed ‘Sao Dok Yaah.’ When she was 11, her parents separated,
and she went to live with her grandmother. In charge of her three younger
siblings, Tai Orathai was determined to be successful so she could earn money to
help pay bills. After graduating from Ramkhamhaeng University with a bachelor’s
