Tabletom, a Spanish rock band formed in 1976 in Málaga, Andalusia, emerged from
an anarcho-hippie commune. The original lineup included Roberto González
(vocals), Jesús Ortiz (bass and violin), Javier Denis (oboe and saxophones),
Pedro "Perico" Ramírez (guitar), José Manuel "Pepillo" Ramírez (flute), and Paco
Oliver (drums). Their debut album, Mezclalina, was released in 1980. Despite
initial struggles with their label RCA, Tabletom gained a dedicated following
