Sworn Enemy, an American metalcore band from New York City, was formed in 1997
by vocalist Sal Lococo, lead guitarist Lorenzo Antonucci, rhythm guitarist Mike
Raffinello, bassist Jimmy Sagos, and drummer Zoli. Initially known as Downfall
and later Mindset, the band changed their name to Sworn Enemy due to another
band using the same name. Their early releases included Negative Outlook (2001)
