Superbus is a French rock band formed in Paris in 1999 by singer, songwriter and
composer Jennifer Ayache, daughter of actress Chantal Lauby. After a trip to the
USA, where she wrote several songs in English, Ayache returned to France and
founded the band with Michel Giovannetti (guitar) and Patrice Focone (guitar,
keyboards), soon joined by François Even (bass) and Guillaume Rousé (drums).
Their style blends pop rock, punk and power pop, with new wave influences. In
2002, Superbus released their first album, Aéromusical, produced by David
