(Su Yun Ying)
Mandopop singer-songwriter Su Yunying was born on April 8, 1991, in Sanya,
Hainan, China. She first came to prominence on the 2015 season of China’s
televised talent show Sing My Song. Her musical journey began when, influenced
by Li folk music, she became interested in singing. She attended Beijing
Contemporary Music Academy and studied folk music before switching to Pop during
her sophomore year. During her senior year, she began writing her own songs. She
eventually formed her first band, but they broke up after a few months together
and she chose to continue as a solo artist....
