Strangefolk
Strangefolk, an American jam band from Burlington, Vermont, formed in 1991 as an
acoustic duo by Jon Trafton and Reid Genauer at the University of Vermont. The
band evolved into a full group with Erik Glockler on bass and Luke Smith on
drums by 1993, playing local bars and quickly gaining popularity. They released
their self-titled debut album Strangefolk in 1994, followed by Lore in 1995 and
Weightless in Water in 1997. In 1998, Strangefolk signed with Mammoth Records
