Steinwolke, a German rock band, was founded in 1976 by three members of the Haas
family—Konrad, Clemens, and Andreas—and Dominic Diaz, an adopted son born in
Uganda. Uli Schmid from Leonberg joined shortly after as the keyboardist. The
band initially gained traction through their unique folk-rock and world
music-influenced compositions, performing numerous live shows and releasing
three self-produced LPs: Steinwolke (1979), Lionskweet (1980), and Live (1981).
