Discovered by Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, Staind formed in 1995 in
Springfield, Massachusetts, and quickly became one of America's leading nu-metal
acts during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Early albums like Tormented (1996)
and Dysfunction (1999) raged with thunderous riffs and desperate angst, but it
was the raw, emotional depth of Break The Cycle (2001) that brought huge
