Spontania is a Japanese music unit originally formed by Massattack and Tarantula, who met in New York in 1996 and began their career under the name Hi-Timez. They made their major debut in 2004 through Toshiba EMI. In 2007, after meeting Micro of Def Tech, they rebranded as Spontania and relaunched their career under Micro’s label, Primary Color Recordz, part of Universal Music’s Far Eastern Tribe Records.
