Koisei Abe, born April 3, 1975 in Tokushima, Japan, served as the guitarist and
vocalist for the Japanese rock band SPARTA LOCALS. He began composing songs in
high school, forming the group in 1998 with friends from Tokushima. The band's
first commercial release came with the single "Pogo" in 2003, which introduced
their energetic sound. In 2002, Sad Tinnitus, their debut album, was released
