SOVIET SUPREM
Soviet Suprem is a satirical musical duo formed in Vitry-sur-Seine in 2013 by
Toma Feterman aka John Lenin, founder of electro-swing band La Caravane Passe,
and R. Wan aka Sylvester Stalin, lead singer of alternative chanson band Java.
Often dressed up in outfits evoking the Soviet era, in 2014 they released their
debut album L'Internationale, whose music is full of references to that period,
not without the humor and irony that characterizes each of their lyrics. The
musical universe tinged with punk, rap, reggae and Balkan folklore is staged in
the form of a political discourse...
