Born on September 25, 1996, in Puerto Rico and raised in Manhattan’s Dyckman
neighborhood, Slayter emerged as a distinctive voice in New York’s underground
rap scene. His debut EP, Cold at Night (2019), introduced listeners to his
gritty narratives and atmospheric production. In 2020, he released World Got Me
Fcked Up, Vol. 1, a mixtape featuring collaborations with Jay Critch, Maxo
Kream, Benny The Butcher, and 22Gz, with narration by Princess Nokia. The
project was followed by World Got Me Fcked Up, Reloaded later that year.
