Born on 22 January 1976 in Sortland, Norway, Sivert Høyem rose to fame as the
lead singer of bluesy alt-rock band Madrugada, releasing five albums in the late
1990s and naughties before they split up following the death of guitarist and
songwriter Robert Burås in 2008 (later reuniting in 2008). He began his solo
