Silvana Imam
A Swedish rapper known for her politically-charged protest songs, Silvana Imam
was born on September 19, 1986, in Plungė, Lithuania. The daughter of Syrian and
Lithuanian refugees, she moved to Stockholm as a child and eventually became one
of Sweden's most celebrated hip-hop acts, known for creating music that railed
against racism, homophobia, and neo-Nazism. Her debut album, Rekviem, was
