Silkstone
Silkstone, a Dutch pop band formed in 1996 by singer Niels Geusebroek and
guitarist Frans van Essen, initially experienced limited success before being
signed to Sony BMG in 2001. Their breakthrough came with the single "Ready"
(2002), which gained heavy radio play and became their first charting hit. The
band's debut album For a Reason was released in 2003 and sold over 15,000
copies. Silkstone toured extensively across Europe, the United States, and
