Shawn Desman
Canadian pop singer Shawn Desman was born Shawn Bosco Fernandes on January 12,
1982, in Mississauga, Ontario. From a very early age, he participated in several
talent shows and competitions and even appeared in the video for Boomtang Toys'
"Squeezetoy" before making his debut with his self-titled breakthrough album in
2002. Driven by the Top 10 singles "Shook," "Spread My Wings," and "Get Ready,"
the album reached Number 38 on the Canadian charts and was eventually certified
gold by the Canadian Recording Industry Association. Released in 2006, his
