Satyricon
Norwegian black metal band Satyricon have released nine studio albums during
their 25-year recording career. Almost by definition black metal bands operate
outside the mainstream music business but in 2002 Satyricon emerged from their
underground obscurity and released their fifth album 'Volcano' which won the
band numerous awards including a Norwegian Grammy for Best Metal Album. Although
the band tour as a conventional five-piece metal band, in essence they are a duo
