Satoshi Ikeda, born on 21 July 1963 in Nasukarasuyama, Japan, is a Japanese
singer‑songwriter and actor who emerged from a background in electrical
engineering at Nihon University. After his university band dissolved, Ikeda
pursued a solo career and signed with Tanabe Agency, later joining Keidash. His
debut single, "Monochrome Venus" (5 August 1986), was featured in a Suzuki Alto
commercial and entered the TBS The Best Ten charts for six weeks, establishing
