Sarp Sanin, known professionally as Sarp, was born on October 22, 1977, in
Ankara, Turkey. He developed a passion for music during his childhood in
Denizli, influenced by artists like Elvis Presley and The Doors. Sarp learned to
play the guitar and formed his first band, Butterfly, while studying at Denizli
Anatolian High School. In 1996, Sarp moved to İzmir to study chemical
engineering at Ege University, where he founded another group called Trap. His
