Luise Gruber, born 27 June 1982 in Wels, Austria, is a German‑based singer who
adopted the stage name Saint Lu; she began her musical journey in school bands
such as Joe Graham and Djaleb, before teaching at the music school CreatiV
after her participation in the 2003 castintg show Starmania. Her first recorded
work appeared in 2005 with the EP One Step Closer, released under the name
Luise, though it saw limited distribution; the breakthrough came in 2009 when
