ryo (supercell)
Ryo is a Japanese composer and producer best known as the founder and sole
composer of supercell, as well as the producer behind the vocal project EGOIST,
which later went on hiatus. Before entering the Vocaloid scene, Ryo worked
behind the scenes composing songs for singers, but grew frustrated with the lack
of recognition given to composers. Encouraged by a college junior, he turned to
Vocaloid as a way to make his name visible, a decision that shaped his career.
