Tarik Johnston (April 12, 1988), aka Rvssian, is a producer and vocalist from Jamaica. He studied piano and drums as a child and after leaving school he became interested in production. He attracted interest with his first release “Liberty Riddim” in 2008. His breakthrough came when he released the hit “Life Sweet” with Vybz Kartel in 2010. He originally performed under the moniker of “Russian” but changed it to “Rvssian” to facilitate online searches.
