Rui En, born Loh Rui En on 29 January 1981 in Singapore, is a Singaporean singer
and actress who began her career as a model after completing her A Levels at
Raffles Junior College. Her breakthrough came in 2001 when a SingTel
advertisement brought her to national attention, leading to a contract with Hype
Records and a feature in Singapore’s FHM. In 2002, she entered the Mandarin pop
market under the stage name 芮恩, releasing her debut album Rui Σn vol. 01 in
