Royel Otis
Australian pop-rock and indie pop band, Royel Otis was founded in Sydney in
2019. Its name derives from the combination of the first names of its two
members, multi-instrumentalist Royel Maddell and singer Otis Pavlovic. Their
collaboration begins with a few exchanges of demos, before the two artists work
together on a first studio EP. This materialized in October 2021 under the name
Campus. In August 2022, the pair put the finishing touches to their successor,
Bar & Grill . But it wasn't until the third, Sofa Kings , that Royel Otis made
