Roxx Gang was formed in 1982 in St. Petersburg, Florida, by vocalist Kevin
Steele and guitarist Eric Carrell, who later died in 1986. The early lineup
evolved through the 1980s, with Steele fronting the group as a glam‑metal act
that blended hard‑rock riffs and theatrical stage presence. In 1987 the band
attracted record‑company attention with the demo Love 'Em and Leave 'Em, leading
