Ron Wood
A relatively minor figure in rock history, Ron Wood achieved enviable status
through his involvement with The Faces and The Rolling Stones. The Hillingdon
native (June 1, 1947), who began his career in the 1960s with The Birds, joined
Jagger and Richards' band in 1975, succeeding Mick Taylor. Although not a guitar
virtuoso, his versatility and good humor make him a welcome addition to any
band. Likewise, although he doesn't have a thundering solo career, Ron Wood
