Country music singer and songwriter Rodney Atkins – born in Knoxville, Tennessee on March 28, 1969. His musical journey began while attending college at the Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee where he met several songwriters who inspired him to do the same. Rodney Atkins then moved to Nashville, Tennessee in the mid-1990s in the hopes of landing a record deal.
