Robyn
Robyn (born Robin Miriam Carlsson, Stockholm, Sweden, June 12, 1979) made her
name in Sweden back in 1994 with "Do You Really Want Me (Show Respect)", and has
been renewing her Eurodance sound ever since, injecting it with a dose of
electro. In 1998, "Show Me Love" became her first international hit. Recurrent
management and label problems then thwarted her blossoming. Robyn returned with
the album Robyn, released in Sweden in 2005 and internationally in 2007. In
2010, her successor, Body Talk, struggled to appeal beyond the Nordic sphere.
