Jose Robert Anderson Tapia, known as Roberto Tapia, was born on February 3,
1981, in San Diego, California. He is an American singer of Mexican ancestry who
specialized in clarinet and other instruments at the Instituto Sinaloense de
Cultura in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. Roberto Tapia's professional debut came in
Tijuana, Baja California, alongside fellow Sinaloan artist El Lobito de Sinaloa.
